Lovely older lady who has had a great time on holidays.
I wanted to give you a bit of insight in to Pabay while I have been looking after her, purely in the hope that it helps her find a forever home!
Since the introduction of the ‘support bubble’ I have spent more time with my partner and two small children (four and seven). Pabay understandably seems more anxious in these situations, and I think she would benefit from a home with older children ultimately. On a number of occasions she has tried to take food from the children, and on other occasions their cuddly toys if she fancied! This was not aggressive behaviour, more greed and curiosity than anything. Unfortunately it did unnerve them and I feel it’s unfair to put either the dog or the children in that situation long term. In spite of this, she is a very sweet dog, and is fantastic on the lead, barring the occasional squirrel/cat sighting! Pabay is very food orientated, and is prone to having a nosey about on the worktops and tables if she thinks she can get away with it. Oh and she doesn’t like stairs!
I have loved looking after her and she really is a little sweetheart, I’ve grown quite attached to her. I’ve attached some photos I’ve taken during her stay.
Two of her kids ran last night at Doncaster. Their mum won an Open race back in the day.
