About

Through no fault of her own Sasha has been returned to Tia. We are looking for a very special forever home for this lovely young dog but will require a family willing to work with a behaviourist to help her adjust to her new home. Due to her previous circumstances Sasha now reacts to any feeling of threat with aggression. Her new owners will have to take the time to get to know her while in the kennels and she will only be rehomed once there is a connection between her and the adoptees. She cannot be rehomed with a family who has or who wants children, the family must have space for her to have her own area, be prepared to be patient to gain her trust in humans again”. She is fine with other dogs. Would benefit from a secure garden and loves to have a good run in a secure paddock.

She originaly came to Tia 16 months ago, she was a stray and was in a right state.

This poor little dog deserves a home where they address her problems.

Ideally she needs to be rehomed around the Huddersfield area so she can go and see Wendy @ Donaldson’s vets to sort her little mashed head out…

Bonnie

Breed: Greyhound
Sex: Female

Traceys Dream 23.7.16

Needs a cuddle as Bonnie has been living in a home and had to come back to living in kennels through no fault of her own.

Bonnie is the sister of Peanut who stayed with us briefly last year. A veteran of the now closed Belle Vue, Bonnie made sure of things by turning in the trap and refusing to take part in this daft game anymore.  Tore (Mutley Surprise) also ran but didn’t have the brains to do something so clever.

No fairy princess at 32 kgs but a beautiful dog waiting for her family to turn up.

Blane

Breed: Greyhound
Sex: Male

Brother Charles d.o.b 12.6.13

Man of mystery, Blane last raced at Brighton back in 2015. We assume he is a job dog, a gambling dog and frankly probably a ringer. He could probably get someone disqualified if he could talk.

Oh Blane, the things you could tell us.

About

Shotgun Slade d.o.b 2.10.13

Heart the size of an elephant. Boddam graced the track no less than 249 times. That does not include trials. A real unit. He has been looked after though and last won at Sheffield back in January 2020. Owes racing absolutely nothing.

Boddam is a bit of an older lad and having spent his life with an unvarying routine is a little nervous of this new world he has entered. We would like a home with people who have experience of greys and are prepared to take the time with him. Time to give a bit back.

About

Tyra Lolo d.o.b 14.6.16

His mum won 9 Open races. Nine!

Norwick didn’t inherit her class but won 17 at Henlow. He raced up to lockdown and came to us via the flapping circuit. A lovely, lolloping daft big lemon.

Much as we will miss him, he should be on someone’s sofa.
