Little “MO” update
Back in the spring “MO” suffered a serious back/neck injury. Tia decided it was time for her to live the good life. She had recently returned from adoption looking worse for wear.
She is now a sponsor dog, she has lead walks and after lots of TLC her recovery has been good.
Today she strolled around the grounds and the 2 beautiful shires came to great our Greyhound princess.
Little “MO” update
Just reminder that the Tia Christmas Fair this year will be on 10th Dec at Mill Race Farm. Any donations towards the tombola, bottle, and mystery jar (filled & wrapped) stalls would be most gratefully received We’d also appreciate non-perishable items for a luxury Christmas Hamper, and other donations towards the raffle please.
Even with no dogs allowed, we raised a fantastic £214.05 through the tombola, Tia merchandise & collection buckets. Thank you to the general public for their generosity and the volunteers “manning” the stall. The photo was taken at the end of the day when most of the tombola prizes were gone & the wind had blown off our posters & signs!
Join us for the last walk of the year, it would be nice to see as many of you as possible for the walk as we will have a break over the winter months and won’t be back again until March/April next year!!
Meeting at 11.00 am in the main car park (free parking)
Follow A638 Great North Road to Torworth, once in Torworth take the turn onto Daneshill Road, there are brown signs for the lakes.
The walk should last around 35 minutes.
Dogs on leads at all times and please scoop the poop. Anyone who would like to take a kennel dog would be welcome to but please arrange with Deb in advance.
Join us back at Tia rescue (just a short drive from Daneshill Lakes) for some lovely food.
Hope to see you there!
Volunteers needed please on Saturday 28th October to help man Tia stall at Trinity Walk, Wakefield. If you can spare a few hours to help sell Tia merchandise, tin rattle, run the tombola, raise awareness & promote Greyhounds & Tia, please contact Alison Lane, email@example.com. We are especially short on help for the morning shift. Unfortunately no dogs allowed.
