Hi Deb

I’ve got 4 tickets to see the Kaiser Chiefs in Leeds on Saturday 4 March. Great seats. We can’t use them now so I wondered if we could put them up on FB. Website to see if anyone might want them. All proceeds to Tia. They cost £38.50 each so hopefully we’d at least get £100 for the lot.

Sad news

Hi Debbie
I just want to let you know that sadly our beautiful greyhound Bobby has had to leave us for Rainbow Bridge. Over the last few months his health had deteriorated with arthritis and also the on set of dementia. On Wednesday evening he started to loose the strength in his back legs and was struggling to stand up to eat. We think that there may have been an undiagnosed spinal tumor but due to his age and other health conditions it was decided that investigations wouldn’t be fair on him.
Thank you for allowing us to re-home such a wonderful dog. He brought a lot of joy to many people who he met and has left such a big whole in our life that will be difficult to fill.
Bobby: 10/09/04 – 22/12/16
Re-homed from Tia: 30/08/07

Bobby came in to Tia with an untreated broken wrist. We called him Boston. Thank you Sarah and Andy for loving him so well.

Not a bad day!

It has been really quiet here all week. Which hasn’t been a bad thing with all the work going on… But today has been lovely. The cafe has been very busy and more importantly there were greyhounds everywhere. Lots of visiting dogs and their owners. We have had 4 adopted today, the brindle puppy, Daenery’s, Edward and Riz. Riz had been with us for 13 months. A middle aged, black, grey faced, greyhound girl. She has only been on foster for 3 weeks and to be honest i didn’t recognise her. She looks amazing and so happy…Thanks Gillian, proud owner of 3 black dogs… There are lots of people coming to see the horses and donkeys and we will be back to normal in a few weeks for dog walking too.. The onsite charity shop is also proving popular. Just over £200 taken today.. We have also had some more people come forward to foster which means that 2 of our dogs have come back  from the kennels, so that’s good… A good day….Deb

Kennel Block

The builder has told me today that it will be another 3 weeks to complete….so that probably means 4

If you need to bring the dogs back can you please make sure to give me plenty of notice…as much notice as you can…

We still have 19 dogs in kennels and obviously we can’t take any more in short term.

Please if you can foster, just turn up.

Massive thanks to all of you that already are…

It's Gone

What a wonderful site….Up yours Loddon Engineering….nearly 2 years of grief…

However we did manage to get every penny back and hopefully we have sold it to a greyhound trainer….
