Just look at me in my Jimjams!
I was lucky enough to foster the beautiful Lulu this weekend. Lulu settled in well and fast, her first task was to find my bed, her second to claim it. With her tasks complete she snuggled on the sofa and fell asleep to the sounds of the TV. Lulu never does anything fast, whether it be jumping down off the sofa or up on the bed, she does everything at her own pace. She’s a clean dog and as it was a cold November weekend, she did her business outside each time we ventured out and promptly turned around to go back inside. A clever girl she knows her name, but if you are lucky enough to adopt her you will probably never need to call her as she will instantly become your new shadow.
Sponsorship – The Perfect Christmas Gift for our animals – and your friends & relatives.
At Tia Rescue we have some residents who will stay with us for the rest of their lives. They need food, exercise, vet treatment, winter coats etc., etc. and this is where you can help through Tia’s Sponsorship scheme.
Christmas is just around the corner, so, why not sponsor one of these special animals as a present for someone or even as a treat for you? Sponsorship costs just £26 for 6 months or £52.00 for a year. You can sponsor any of the animals listed on Tia’s website under “Sponsor Needed” via the PayPal link or by downloading a sponsor form. If you prefer to pay by monthly standing order (£4.50) just firstname.lastname@example.org.
So please sort your present list out now and get sponsoring. Tia’s Sponsor Scheme is run by volunteer Marion. She can be contacted by emailing email@example.com. Let her know if the sponsorship is for a Christmas Gift and any special instructions or personalised messages you want including in the sponsor pack.
As the recent welfare cases have shown, at Tia we see many disturbing, upsetting scenes in the course of our work. When it comes to the welfare of defenceless animals people can be truly horrible! But people can also be truly wonderful. Be wonderful this Christmas. . . . be a sponsor.
We have lots of great stalls lined up for the Tia Christmas Fair at Mill Race Farm on Sunday 4th Dec. Stallholders may set up from 9.30am. The café will be open as usual from 8.30am. The Fair is open from 11am.
Contributions of homemade cakes, buns, mince pies, etc. would be greatly appreciated for the cake stall please. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to the tombola, raffle and bottle stalls.
