Harry the little mule has been here a while. Welcome to Donkey who came last weekend….They would love to see you over the Bank Holiday

AKA Penny…

I can’t remember how many years ago it was that I went to the pound, to find Malcolm and his daughter Kate in tears….I had gone to collect some greyhounds.

Then I looked down and saw her, a baby great dane, emaciated, bones and legs all over the place. They had put a pink coat on her to try and warm her up. She had just been brought in by the dog warden, but seven days in the pound would have killed her. She slept all the way back on the front seat of the van.

I didn’t have her long, she found a lovely home locally and has had a fantastic life…This is her coming to visit a few weeks ago.

She is an old lady now, a beautiful old happy dog…

New arrival

Don’t think she is too impressed with us at the moment, and that was before she had her bath.

How time flies…..When we acquired Ratty & Witchy, my whippet lurchers 13yrs ago. We didn’t expect a year later to get Al & Bert, two saluki bull greyhounds from a pound at only 5 months old…

When we moved to Moorside, we decided to rehome Al & Bert. They both got perfect homes. Bert still comes to visit and this is him. A lovely old boy.
